Attributed to Isaac Luria (HaAri), some say portions of it are older. The original verses by HaAri had the acrostic of יצחק לח which stood for יצחק לוריא חזק. Later authors decided to fill in the abbreviated לח and added the stanzas that start with וריא זק. Translation by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi.
