Ki Hem Chayenu

 
כִּי הֵם חַיֵּֽינוּ


Ki hem chayenu v'orech yameinu u'va'hem negeh yomam va'laila. V'ahavt'cha al tasir memenu le'olamin.
כִּי הֵם חַיֵּֽינוּ וְאֹֽרֶךְ יָמֵֽינוּ, וּבָהֶם נֶהְגֶּה יוֹמָם וָלָֽיְלָה, וְאַהֲבָתְךָ אַל תָּסִיר מִמֶּֽנּוּ לְעוֹלָמִים.

Translation:

For they are our life and the length of our days, and we will meditate on them day and night. And mayest thou never take away thy love from us.
