I think the idea that we accompany​ Hashem on Shabbat is a powerful one in this zemer. See in this regard Isaiah 56:6. Is the author of the zemer referring​ to this or another verse from Tanach or Jewish liturgy? Can anyone site other verses or tefillot that might apply? Gail Diamond
