K'ayal ta'arog al afikei mayim ken nafshi ta'arog eilecha elohim.
Tzam'a nafshi l'elohim-- l'el chai, matai avo v'e'raeh p'nei elohim. | כְּאַיָּל, תַּעֲרֹג עַל-אֲפִיקֵי-מָיִם-- כֵּן נַפְשִׁי תַעֲרֹג אֵלֶיךָ אֱלֹהִים.
צָמְאָה נַפְשִׁי, לֵאלֹהִים-- לְאֵל חָי: מָתַי אָבוֹא; וְאֵרָאֶה, פְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים. |
Translation:Like a deer thirsts for a brook of water, so my soul thirsts for you. My soul thirsts for the living God, when will I appear before my God. | |
